SD memory card recommendation

I've just bought a Nikon D80 and am having some problems (I think) with the
memory card recommended by the vendor - I seem to be getting randomly
corrupted images and "file contains no image data" messages.  The card is a
K2 Ultra-X by KDMAX, a Korean company (I'm in Korea) and is about $200.

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for SD memory cards or any
advice.

Thanks in advance.

$200? - What size card is it?.
I use Sandisk and get them from HongKong - $26 for 1gb and $39 for 2gb. I
think the 4gb is around $79.

Hmm, I think I have to go back and have a little chat with the nice man who
sold me the camera.

Thanks.

I use sandisk (mostly), kingston or ridata without a problem

Bought a SanDisk SD 2.0 GB today. No problems with anything now.  Thanks for
your advice.

On the box it says that transfer speed is 40 MB/sec (200X).  I'm guessing it
was a little more expensive because of this?
