or is it smellier in this newsgroup than usual?

and useful post have.... well made like the draught and dried up!

I'll post a KPOTW later. If you don't like that, you can always hang out

I think the neighbour's toilet is blocked up

Weelll... I haven't had much of a chance to read Usenet just recently,
but obviously the stench that you referred to was more than apparent
when I downloaded almost a week of posts tonight. The finger that I
use to click on the Killfile and Ignore Thread buttons is on the point
of getting RSI. Still, it's summer which means that lots of (sane)
posters are out and about instead of being in front of the computer,
or starting to get back into the work cycle after the Xmas/new year
holidays. Conversely it's also school holidays which brings out...
well, we KNOW what it brings out. The drought will break eventually.
In the meantime, I think it's time to get the lens cap off and work
the shutter button rather than the killfile button for a while...
