I think they're slipping. They used to be fantastic. Lots of cheaper memory
cards on Ebay these days.

There is one tenet in life that I have found very useful; if something
sounds too good to be true it probably is a scam.
On another matter, I keep getting emails asking me to give some friendly
Nigerian person my bank account details and they will give me 10% of the
hundred million dollars they want to move out of the country. How can I
refuse such a generous offer!!!

Well you seem to believe everything that's posted on the net as absolute
truth so yeah, why not give it a go with the Nigerians :-)
I have bought several Memory cards from eBay, and so far, without a problem,
the secret is to not buy the ones labelled as "Genuine Sandisk/Kensington"
etc. I buy the ones labelled as "NoName/Whatever" etc and I'm perfectly
happy with them, they may not be as fast as some, but they take the same
abuse and store just as many pixels for usually less than half the price of
the "Brand" name.
YMMV

Be careful of cheap eBay cards as many have been found to be fake.
Vasa at PIN has always been very reliable, so perhaps it's just a holiday
thing as someone suggested??
If you ever need an alternative, I have also found good prices and service
from jaldigital.com.au
