Still got a pile more I have to get around to posting.

I dont hire out the rig for shoots these days.
I make them and sell them now for others, a 50 ft unit and a 65ft tall
unit, I only sell photo units to franchise owners of
www.open2view.com.au in Aus also NZ, shorlty the USA.
You can see some more Polecam shots on their site, a few in there off
the 65 footer I make for them.

Cheers

I've seen your site before... the pics certainly look more impressive
than my attempts: staggering around with a fully extended tripod
balanced on my chest, and a heavy Canon 1 series sitting on the end!

Looks good, nothing like a 3rd dimension of height in images to show
the best.

How its done doesnt matter much
We get em anyway we can.

Pole.
RC helicopter

(old EOS5 on it, the 300D was a godsend for RC AP)

I have a rig that I pull up trees, we fire a shot bag with an air
tube.
Fired up over a branch with a pull knot and pulley, then haul up the
rig inside a box, adjust the 3 axis mount remotely from he ground to
take shots. (has zoom drive as well)
All my cam mount and control stuff is wireless.
I call that my "walkabout rig", you can go bush with it and just pick
a tall tree.
But it doesnt get much use becuase I  dont go bush much myself.

One of these day when I get time Ill get to putting some of those up
at my site from times I did venture outdoors (up the sticks), but in
the end all the shots are just low level aerial views and whichever
the method they where taken isnt seen.

check out the shots at open2view.com.au
There guys are all better photographers than I am, as in they are all
long in the business, theyve taken to the Pole rigs I sell them fast
and are doing some nice pics, faster than I figured it out.
Houses granted, but still nice aerial views.

Cheers

Can you contact me off-list with some pricing info?

We use a 7.1 Manfrotto tripod with a timer.

Cheers mate

Hi Joel, got your message sorry I havent replied yet.

I must applogise for my web site the info is redundant, I had 2 web
devs that where to do a new one, but they seem to go awol when I
accept the quotes.

The mast system I sell now is changed from what was offered earlier.
The trailer rtigs and cam mount, console etc are all original
prototypes.

Here are some pics of the latest rig, cam mount and ground controller.

50 Metre 6 sectrion rig is $9000+ GST, the 20 Metre is $12,500 + GST
Fitting is about $600.

That includes the whole rig, vehicle mount, cam mount and ground
controller, its a turnkey system, all they supply is the DSLR and the
Van or 4WD

However,
I only sell systems to open2view.com.au franchise owners.

They buy more than I can make and have backorders for them for some
time to come, some of those going to NZ and now they have setup in the
USA I will be full time keeping up with supplying US franchise
operators.
So I agreed for them, any orders from them is one on going order, and
after we are done supplying them all in 3 countries, I can take other
orders.
But that wont be this year at least.

Cheers
