Ahh yes. The "cart"!
It's a nifty piece of PHP programming I wish I could remember how to
remove! Check the Gallery forum for a cart. It takes major effort to
make it work on my E commerce server but I've been told it is easy with
a standard flavour of Linux.
I use SME with oscommerce which is far from 'standard' but very secure.
Try POTD for some information. Russell has a server in the US with
coppermine on it. Twist his arm, make him squirm. He might help you sell
your photos. If he does, tell me!

I use Coppermine but we don't actually sell from it on POTD. If you want
to use Coppermine within your own web site there are shopping cart mods
freely available, see http://www.picture-parade.co.uk/shop/ for one. You
will still need to handle the printing side of it though. I am fairly
familiar with Coppermine these days (having heavily modified ADPOTD's
version) and can help you if you want to go that way.
If you want an aussie based service that runs the gallery and also handles
the print orders you could look at Pro Galleries by Fuji

It seems the bugs in Gallery are also in the shop demo of Coppermine.
Images half loading or not loading at all. I traced it down the
Gallery's reliance on W3C standards. If the header isn't absolutely
correct (jpg's are seldom correct) then the program won't convert the
images properly. Bit of a pain and why I use my own flavour of a gallery
for client purchases... I'd show you all but then I'd have to kill you
to keep it's secret location secret!

I've taken the image of a Greek goddess
Her name is Olympus. Her magic is mine.
EOS is dead, long live Olympus.

I didn't find any problems with that shop demo, but there is a known problem
with some application's JPEGs within Coppermine.
I have started to make a list of what my members are using and if they have
problems or not. So far we are at....
Good...
Photoshop
Photoshop Elements
Ulead PhotoImpact
Bad...
PhotoWatermark Pro
ArcSoft Photostudio 5.5
