On behalf of my sister (by phone):
Camera is PowerShot Pro 1 shooting in RAW format, Photoshop CS will no
longer read the RAW files:
"Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of
document..."
Have used the same camera and same format before in the same program on the
same computer (!) so one wonders if there is a setting on the camera that
may have been changed...
Any ideas?

delay that last message, try using a memory card reader instead of
tearing your hair out plugging cameras into pc's.
copy the files of the card onto hdd and open them that way.
card readers are dirt cheap $20 or so. and a helluva lot easier.

Check your version of Photoshop. According to Adobe's web site, the
version of the RAW pug-in you need for the Pro1 is v3, which only works
with Photoshop CS2

Go to www.pixmantec.com and download a FREE RAW converter. Excellent
software
They even have a FORUM you can enter your questions about the software. IT
IS excellent !!!
