Problem during taking photo in night in dynax 5

Hi there,

I have problem with my dynax 5,
whenver i try to take photo in night..the camera just
flash and nothing happend...
but camera work properly in day..
i am not able to sort out the problem...

can u pls suggest some solutions..

What do you mean "nothing happened"?  Was a frame exposed but came out
dark, or no frame was exposed at all?

What were you trying to photograph?  How far away was it?

Hi Alan,

There is no frame exposed at all...
it only flash the light when i pressed the button.

it happens for every photograph whether i tried in inside or outside

It may be using the flash as an autofocus assist (if the flash is of a
seemingly long duration, then that is the case).  On failing to focus,
it does not allow the shutter to release.

Put the camera in manual focus mode and focus manually and/or change the
custom setting that prevents the shutter from firing if there is no focus.

Did you take the lens cap off?
