I went to buy a speedlite 430EX today.
While at the store, I shot few frames with a 5D and a new 24-105L.
I didn;t want to play too much with it because I'm afraid I'd like it
too much...just still a little too expensive...
Quick first impressions, fast, nice solid feeling, big bright viewfinder.

The bright veiwfinder is important to me. I would like to see Canon make
some lower line models with as nice a veiwfinder. They could sell me a
couple of bodies if they did but I am not going to put out as much as
they want for the 5D unless it does the dishes and mows the lawn.
