Give me a grasshopper, a 20D and the MP-E Macro
lens and I can have a very enjoyable evening.

Jesus, Brett, those shots are almost unbelievably good.  DoF at that
magnification is incredible.  I am in awe.

Amazing. He's rather a handsome fellow, isn't he? I like his armour
plated collar thingie.

My little friend must've enjoyed last night's portrait session
so much that he came back and posed some more tonight.

Very nice pics, this lens has a very good reputation but I have a good idea
of how hard it is to produce such good images at high magnification, well
done!

Are you still using flash on a bracket or has ypur budget run to a macro
twin flash yet?

Much more difficult than you can imagine.  But I love the challenge.

No twin flash yet. I kinda like the variety of light that handholding
the flash gives.
Sometimes I could use an extra hand or two, however.
I just got the B&H 35mm Sourcebook so I'm sure I'll find something
useful there.

I just got mine today, I like that it has photos of "almost everything".
