I have an Old NIKON FE.
I want to replace the back foam and the mirror bumper foam.
I see the place mention 100 times here to buy self adhesive foam.
but the only question is:
what thickness, for the back , 1 ,2 or 3 mm
and them mirror ?

no one knows , and others, many have asked.

surely someone can remember.

Thanks for anyclues or directions.

The door seals should be fine with 2mm strips, and the mirror damping should
be fine with 2 or 3mm.  You could try measuring what's already there and
make allowances for its being compressed.  You can use strips of mousemat if
you're stuck, or you can look on Ebay for 'Interslice', whose seal kits are
excellent, and come with comprehensive instructions.
