hi "Maurice Rebonne"
try this
http://www.paramountcords.com/metzsq.asp

Read the following, if you want use Metz 45 CT1 (numbrer less 534,000) with
a modern camera
You have to use a Sync cord with "Voltage Protection"

from "FAQ Mecablitz"  (16-mar-2001)
=5&linkname=mecablitz)

Can the mecablitz 45 CT 1 also be used with the new auto focus cameras?

> Unfortunately, the flash unit mecablitz 45 CT 1 does not
> yet have the connection possibilities of the SCA system.
> For this reason there is no adapter available for the
> combination with auto focus cameras. The mecablitz
> 45 CT 1 can only be connected to a given camera with
> the standard synchronous cable.

> Furthermore, please bear in mind that the mecablitz
> 45 CT 1 with a model number less than 534,000 still
> have a so-called high-voltage ignition circuit. These types
> of flash units may not be connected directly to modern
> cameras. Under certain circumstances the camera may
> even be damaged.
