You had better moon shots with your D60.

What was that?
3200 ISO in black & white??
Very noisy under that shroud of no-color...

I think you might have your gamma set too high.  There is noise present,
but only if I ramp the levels.

The noise is from the post-processing of a very dull, flat image.  That's all I
could get shooting through cloud cover.  Man, I wish the eclipse had occurred
two weeks ago!

Your moon image looks good to me.  Remember, the moon itself has a rather
grainy, speckled surface.  I understood that your image had been enlarged
and contrast-enhanced.  It is a testimony to the sharpness of the lens.
What lens was that, exactly?
