I know you love golf  .. have you  any pics of the Ryder cup..

Europe have now won four of the last five of the biennial matches against
the United States and handed the USA their heaviest defeat in the
competition's 77-year history

Ps you can only get better . I hate it when the USA is unstoppable at golf
My favourite was  Payne  Stuart God bless his sole

Hmmm...let's see...what's the point of this post?  Just to show off another
lack luster image?  Certainly the image isn't a good example of any camera's
capabilities at this low a res...

Are you going to reply to EVERY one of Bret's posts now?  Because if you
are, I'm going to reply to them and tell you to stop acting like a
nitwit.

Hey, I'm not saying that Bret's pictures are all bad, some are pretty good.
But posting of links of pictures just to share pictures is clearly off topic
for this group, isn't it?  It's one thing to discuss the images, even to
say, look at the resolution of this image from this DSLR, that would be
fine.  Hey, and I've got nothing against a fellow photographer sharing a
particularly fine image, or a recently updated gallery of images.  But to
post post after post of everyday snap shots just to share snap shots?  I've
had a D70 in my possession for 3 weeks and have taken over a thousand shots
with it, some of them quite nice, including some latinas performing a
traditional dance in full dress, but you don't see me pushing those on an
equipment group.

So when you say, "at least he posts pictures" I say, go to another group for
that, or save it for the [SI].

And quit top posting, please.

I doubt that would look as good on slide film for tonal range
(consider the shaddows under the bridge).  At that it looks a
little overexposed in the sky.
