Today was overcast, so my planned shot wasn't doable under current
conditions.  With the remains of Gaston passing through, I might not get
a chance until Wednesday.  I'll play it by ear - I'll try and come up
with something new tonight, or scour through my archives for a shot I
can "gussy-up" in Photoshop by adding flames to it and other cool stuff,
like a unicorn.

Whatever comes through, you can make fun of me for being late.

Wouldn't a Dragon be more appropriate, maybe a Salamander?

I won't make fun of you for being late, be early though and I will roast
you!

Good luck with the pic.

I love 4" of rain in as many hours!

Maybe a salamander wizard riding the dragon?  That would be cool.

Hi again Brian,

Flaming unicorns?  I like it!  Can you also add JKF as a rider?  (Just
kidding, everyone.  Stay cool...)

However, because - try in good faith as I did -I never was able to fully get
through to some people, I *am* considering doing as an example a partially
desaturated (using only good 'ole "traditional photographic processes," of
course) color submission for "Red Is Better."  Might be a good object
lesson?  Seeing is believing?  Or more probably just ignored again, so maybe
not even worth it.

Either way, it wouldn't take a great deal of effort technically, you know...
<*sigh...*>

Anyway, glad you're still with us after that failed attempt at
excommunication.  Or was it burning at the stake?  <grin>

You'll be roasted for using "unconventional darkroom methods" by the
Shoot-In Decency Board.

I think they were trying to exorcize the digital demons from my body!
