If she caught me refusing the expensive gifts she would be very
worried.

Just in case it matters, I have my eye on the Canon 500mm f/4.0L IS
lens, you know, just in case someone wants to send it to me.

That is ok, I was figuring that maybe someone else would send me that

IS available.

He's probably not as dumb as he portrayed himself to be and admitted defeat
with the 500/4L to himself, but too ashamed to publicly admit he bought a
piece of crap.  I'm sure he sold it long ago like I sold mine.
