I learned touch typing in high-school; manual Remmington & a spinster teacher sneaking up behind you to whack you upside the head with a ruler if she caught you looking at anything except the typing book on the copy stand. Graded on speed and accuracy. I could get about 45 wpm with 0 errors, and managed to squeek out a C ... but 40 years later, I still type without looking at the keys. |
