BTW, we normally refer to it as "The Fabulous EOS-1V!"

Merry Christmas.

Ain't she though?  Especially when she's wearing the 85 f/1.2L.

Well . . . !
Thank you very much annika1980, and thanks Helen for the assist
now I know what the hole in the front with the plastic cover is for.

I've been shooting a 5D and decided to head back into the cave and buy a 1v
I'm hoping that a 1v with a roll of sweet velvia and a Coolscan scanner will
yield some nice images and its a whole lot cheaper than the new
testosterone-loaded, 21 mega pixel whaddayacallit from Canon.

By the way, don't want to ruffle any feathers, but who decided that "The
Fabulous EOS-1V" was a girl ?
I've been calling my 5D "Fred" but I guess that works either way

Anytime you're sick and tired of your 5D, I would be more than happy
to take it off your hands.  Too advanced for me, but It would make a
great gift.
As for the Fabulous EOS-1v being a girl, that's an understatement.
She's definitely a woman.  LOL.
BTW:  my family and friends call me by my nickname, which is a man's
name.  But I'm definitely not a man.
