I was just finishing off the roll and thought I'd do some wide open
tests. Film is nice! And in this case, to get wide open, I had to
shoot at 1/10000 which my DSLR can't do w/o an ND... (1/4000 max) Makes
me wish harder for K-25 or a less saturated Velvia (50). (I also shot
this at 1/8000 but it's a bit "thick" for the scanner).
With the odd bits of breeze, having 1/10000 as a shutter speed allowed
me to wait for relative calm instead of dead calm.
Hopefully Sony will go for a 1/12000 (or 1/16000) shutter speed on the
"pro" model in 2008. (As well as FF).
Film? Shot a couple rolls of Sensia (35mm) and one roll of Astia 100
(Sensia in reality, just marketed as a pro film and kept in the fridge).

Esp. for full frame shooting. I'll try to hold off until the new year,
but it ain't easy!
Cheers,
Alan.

I would think that at 1/10000 you could shoot in gale force winds
without blurring.

Yes. - Even the average bullet only goes about 4 inches in a 10,000th of a
second.
