This one looks like Indian Pipe, or Ghost Flower.

Funghi or flower? ... never mind I'll go look at Wiki... hmmm, maybe,
not quite:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotropa_uniflora is a bit different...
but may be stage of growth too.

Same genus I suppose... and not funghi ...

That's right, Ericaceae not an orchid but similar strategy to some
orchids, dependent on the mycorrhizae fungus which is dependent on the
trees and not really parasitic as they say but symbiotic. Ericaceae
includes blueberries, heather, manzanita, none of those others are
obligate symbionts.
