Thanks everyone for their input abt what lens thread these x2 lens are

I have tried both T2 adapter - No Joy - won`t even thread on,seems as not large eneough to engage..the thread..

However on both lens the M42 adapter screws on immediatley, and turns  no problem to abt halfway/two thirds before locking up tight.

I have connected them to my 300D..but obviosly they will NOT focuss..
its baffling...you get several revolutions, before tightening...
So if its the wrong thread like T2..it don`t screw on....this screws  on ..apart from the las 1/1.25 mm.......

**if thus was machined off it`ll work..but not reduced to hacksaw yet..ha ha

The Miranda 44mm thread was a suggestion, that I took onboard, after googling, and not knowing of other thread (been a newbie,so to speak.

BOTH LENS are PALINAR

TIA  for any Help or advice/Theories

makemmagic

ps threads on both adapters OK,work on alll my other lens inc 400mm Palinar!

If you get more than revolution, I find it hard to imagine that it is
a thread mismatch - are you sure there isn't simply some thread
damage?  It might not be very obvious.

Sorry if this was already suggested, haven't read other threads.

That's all I can think of. Maybe a little bent thread halfway-in that
could be filed off.
