IMHO I would made use of that zoom lens of yours and zoomed right in
on those birds.  I can't tell from where you shot them if they are
rainbow lorikeets or not.

It's pretty hard when you are posing a bride and the flower girl screams out
to look at the birds. You're right. I should have stopped the proceedings
and changed lenses so you could tell what breed of bird they are!

Either that, or you could have dressed one of the birds in white.......

A tighter crop would help, at least enough to crop out the fence.

Crop: Isn't that something you use when you go horse riding? Certainly I
don't have any use for it with a camera needing every pixel of resolution it
can get. If I begin to get slack and start composing my shots with the idea
"I'll just crop 'em down in Photoshop", when I use my film cameras, I might
be tempted to do the same and for me, that is unacceptable. Feel free to
crop it for your own viewing, if you like.

Well the idea is to to keep your posted image size the same but fill
more of it
with the birds and less of it with the fence.

Of course he could have used a simple burning technique that most pros
use!

Hey, at least he had sense enough to crop out the bride.

I probably would have but I tried not to have it look like one of your
pictures.

It's a part of a bird's digestive system.

I thought it was a necessary part of a farmer's income......
