I was heavily armed and absent minded. You pay a high price for that in
the Army.

That has a sort od self-contradictory feeling - restful and quiet but
just waiting to do some damage.
Reminded me of this silhouette I took a long time ago (and pardon the
quality, please):

That's a pretty sweet photo. I love industrial things... hmm.. might make a
good topic for the shoot-in.

I painted AT&T on the 20mm gun cover. With 20mm AP you can really "reach
out and touch someone."

No problem. One expects lesser quality with film, dontcha know.

No - i dunno - that's not 50 or 100 speed slide and it looks like the
scan that created the poor quality.

The Candy Crane & its tree in Bath! Used to see that every
Christmas going to Maine to see my grandparents.
Love the image, even without the nostalgia. :)

I never heard that name, but it's a good one. In the daytime you could
see that it was painted with red and white stripes.
Thanks.

A outstanding shot, Mark. Shows how it should be done.

Now hold on a second. The moon can not be full at the position shown,
it can only be full when it is opposite the sun.

Heh, heh... well done...
The image is still a striking *graphical illustration*, though...

Great shot but manipulation like the fake moon makes it valueless to
me.

The moon was taken 15 years later. ;)

Where I live, there's a new moon every twenty eight days. You could have
asked me for shot of it a LOT sooner.

Yeah, but the new models don't have near as much chrome plating on the front
end.......

Thanks. When I saw this scene (moonless as it was in reality), I ran into
the hanger to get my buddy who owned a 35mm and to get him to take the shot.
But he said it was my shot, I should take it.
After viewing the scene through the view finder, I realized something wasn't
right. So he viewed the scene and agreed it was missing something... before
it was too late we realized that the camera literally had to be on the
ground to get the full aircraft above the horizon. I provided a wallet to
support the lens, we each checked the view finder one more time, and my
buddy clicked the shutter. Camera was on auto mode, so it was totally a
team effort between Cpl. Murphry, Canon, and myself.
Even though it was my found scene, I never take full credit for the shot,
but if I'd owned my own camera at the time I would have. :)
