I realize this is not exactly the correct forum, but r.p.e.dslr just
gets on my nerves.

I know the new K10D is due out by the end of this month, but does anyone
know when exactly?

For those who are about to go nuts in the film vs digital debate, I
shoot both film and digital as and when I find it appropriate.

It doesn't seem that well publicised. You could try calling Pentax on 0870
7368299 (That's UK BTW).

Ah you do realise that the purpose of these groups is to argue the relative
merits ad nauseum then?

Heh! If I had any energy, I'd just walk half a mile to the independent
camera shop I'm likely to buy it from. Or I could call them once they
opened.

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything before I had to get dressed
and leave the house.

Yeah, but I enjoy standing on the periphery and tossing the occasional
brickbat into the fray.

B&H photo shows them in stock now.
I ordered one earlier today. Some people I know on the west coast have
theirs already.

Norway. Today i talked to Pentax. They said after two weeks.

Probably like the new Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii; the store
where I'm working right now got 6 of the former and 24 of the latter for
the announced debuts. No word when we'll get any further shipments.
