Adding quick release to non-quick-release Manfrotto head

Hi All

I have a Manfrotto #115 head and really miss having quik release. I see
from the manfrotto catalog that they sell 'plate adaptors' will this do
what I want - i.e. screw onto the head I've got and give me a quick
release?

Yes. I had one on my Stroboframe to allow for quick release. Gave it
to someone who needed it. Uses the 1/4"-20 screw to hold it in place.
