Hold still, boy.  Hold still.  Just got to
smear this peanut butter on your nose. No -
hold it - stay - no - OK - snap - whirr.

Can't take pictures of dogs without peanut
butter and baggie full of little cubes of cheese.

No peanut butter was harmed in the making of this photo.

Hey, is it too late to submit this one for the Timing mandate?

Is that the beer dog? Or some canine that appears(ed) in ads?

GOOD GIRL, JEWEL!!
Was this shot taken a few months ago?  I remember a similar shot.
Doesn't matter, I love it!

Great shot Bret---beautiful dog.  I'd definitely feel safe walking down
a dark laneway with her by my side!

As you should.  The Mighty Jewel is a real killer.
She'll lick anybody.  Must be the Pit Bull in her.

Dogs don't kick very effectively in a fight. 'Roos do, tho; bulls,
horses, and T-Rexes.

More likely: Lick.

I have a hell of a time trying to take pictures of my black cat. There just
seems to be no way I can pump enough light/exposure into them to get his
features to stand out......I would venture to say that all portraits of
black cats look the same.......

There's a French saying that at night, all cats are grey...

I use to do a lot of holography for vibration analysis and we often
found we were testing parts that did not image well in the red laser
light.  We had a simple solution that you could use for you cat, a can
of white spray paint.

Your cat would probably like that option better.
