We had a taste of Hawaii weather in Tennessee today.  Intermittent
thunderstorms mixed with brief periods of sunshine.  And like in
Hawaii, some of it occurred at the same time.

Here's a couple of weather shots:

And here's a couple of you-know-who ....
Spike Jesus, who was in a posing mood today:

A great way to look at life:  no rain, no rainbows.
Greeting card companies/calendars look for pics like that.
Is it a real rainbow, or a filter or photoshop?

Superb shot of Spike in flight!  He has gorgeous colorings.

Quite real.  I lucked into that one.  I was trying to get pics of dark
rain clouds and I just happened to catch a small window of time where
the sun popped through while it was raining.  Or as they say around
here, "The devil's beating his wife."

I also had the Fabulous EOS-1V with me, but just my luck it was loaded
with B&W film instead of color slide film.

Quite a stunning shot, Bret.
That's how it always goes! You load with b&w and a "once in a blue
moon" shot comes along and you need color. Good thinking------about
taking both cameras.
You are right-----the EOS-1V is a fabulous camera.
It's on my wish list.
