pegasus imaging watermark on video clips ?

Just bought a new Canon S65, when i copy and paste the video clips to my
desktop and open them with Sonys Vegas 6 to edit them they have a watermark
on for a company called pegasus imaging ? how come this is there  and how do
i remove it ?

The first thing is to open them with another application, and see if the
watermark is present.
If you are using a pirated version of the video processing application, it
may be the source of the watermark.

Forgot to add-- Pegasus imaging has a lot of software available on a "trial"
basis. You may be somehow using a trial version of one of their products.
