Is there a plug-in for Paintshop Pro X (or PSP9) so that i can load and work
on the RAW pictures from my Fuji Finepix S5600 ?

Google's Picasa version 2.1 will let you do that:

The downloadable Raw file program from http://www.pixmantec.com/index2.html
is included or downloadable with either PSP version.  It does not change the
original raw file, just converts it.

I know but that's a "trial" version. I was wanting a free plugin for PSP. I
tried Picasa and that does not load the RAF file (RAW) which my Fuji
produces !. Back to square one again !!

Cheers

I am sorry to hear that, Andy.  I just checked with the news page
over at dpreview (usually very reliable) which states:

"  Improved RAW handling

Picasa supports more RAW formats and cameras in this release, with
improved color-balance support and faster speed. Work with your
highest quality files from these camera manufacturers:

   * Canon (.CRW, .CR2)
   * Nikon (.NEF)
   * Olympus (.ORF)
   * Pentax (.PEF)
   * Kodak (.DCR)
   * Sony (.SRF)
   * Minolta (.MRW)
   * Fuji (.RAF)

New models supported include the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (aka the
350D), Pentax *istDS, Konica/Minolta Maxxum7D (aka the Dynax 7D)."

I could not find a list of supported models, Fuji or otherwise.

The free pixmantec rawshooter essentials over at
www.pixmantec.com/products/rawshooter_essentials.html will *not*
support any Fuji models with the current release (either).

Thanks Rolf for taking the time to look for me, it's much appreciated !.
Yes, i checked Picasa (what a brilliant piece of software, by the way !!).
Unfortunately it just says "unsupported format" when i try to load the .RAF
Fuji file format into it.

However, thanks to yourself, i found Picasa, which i think is great !.
Cannot believe it's free !

Regards
Andrew
