This prog is usually fine but now I just can't get it to run. CPU usage goes
to 100% and the app crashes.

Any ideas as to why? or at least how I can go about fixing this...

Have you ever tried SlowView? It's free. I uninstalled Acdc many
years ago when it began including adware.
