The Churchville Photography Club is an outgrowth of courses on the basics of photography and black & white
developing and printing conducted by a founding member at the Churchville Nature Center in 1983 and 1984. Since 1985,
club membership has grown to an average of 75, including beginners, serious amateurs, and professionals.

representatives including publishers, stock agencies, galleries, and equipment manufacturers; group trips; critiques,
both internally and by recognized experts; topical competitions; "15 minutes of fame" presentations by members;
exhibits at the Nature Center and at Montgomery County libraries; an annual competition open to both members
and nonmembers; and an annual interclub competition with two area photo clubs.
