Owensboro Photography Club
The Owensboro Photography Club is a group of people drawn together by photography. Some of our members are beginners who have just gotten started with a camera and want to learn more. Others are professional photographers who make their living with photography every day. The Club originated in the early 1940s when several shutter snappers started to get together in someone's basement to talk photography. Today the Club meets on the fourth Monday evening of each month at the Owensboro Area Museum of Science & History at 7 p.m. The members still talk photography, have guest speakers, slide shows, lighting/model demonstrations, swap meets, trade shows, contests, competitions, field trips, studio tours, and much more. This could be the club for you. Ask a club member about the benefits, or show up at a meeting. For more information you may call Tony at (270)683-7349 or Edna at (270)926-3323.
